Robotic arm with gripper

Robotic arm with gripper
Robotic devices are used in all aspects of our world. We have seen robotic arms inside many factories working flawlessly but do you know, building a robotic arm is a challenging task. To make it works, it should perform several actions in particular order :
1) Moving an arm
2) Adjusting wrist
3)Opening and closing hands or fingers

Why this project?
Though robotic arms are being around for a long time now still we can do a lot of improvements in existing designs. For example, Project in which we can control it using the internet or wireless rays. We have seen how NASA can control the arm of the Discovery Robot on Mars from Earth. We can also think something out of the box.

Requirements:

For the arm which can be controlled over the internet, we will need two computers(Client and Server). For the Client computer, we will use ebox-2300SX and for the server, we can use any Personal computer.
1)Having MSTI PSX-300 SoC Processor and 128MB DDR2 onboard
2)Windows PC
3)WebCam
6)AL5A Arm Frame for servos: The AL5A robotic arm delivers fast, accurate, and repeatable movement. The robot features: base rotation, single plane shoulder, elbow, wrist motion, a functional gripper, and optional wrist rotate.
7)Servos
8)Cable and Connectors and LAN
9) Microsoft Software such as (Visual Studio Professional and Express, Embedded CE 6.0 Platform Builder
XNA Game Studio, PhidgetFramework for eBox)
